TORONTO, ON – October 22, 2026 – DKI Canada Ltd., a Canadian national property restoration company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Hans Pettersen as Business Development Manager for Atlantic Canada, effective October 19, 2026.
Hans brings 10 years of professional experience in operations, sales, and business development, along with a strong understanding of the insurance industry and claims process. His background in relationship building and business growth will be valuable in supporting DKI Canada’s continued expansion across Atlantic Canada.
Hans’s interest in the restoration industry grew after witnessing the impact of the Tantallon wildfires on his local community and the rebuilding efforts that followed. The opportunity to represent a Canadian restoration organization and contribute to its growth was a natural fit for his professional goals.
In his new role, Hans will focus on expanding DKI Canada’s presence throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. He looks forward to connecting with DKI franchises, strengthening relationships with insurance partners, and identifying new opportunities for growth across the region.

Hans resides in Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia, with his wife, Sara, and their dog, Gunnar. Outside of work, he enjoys soccer, golfing, and skiing.
