General Laborer / Flood Technician

General Laborer / Flood Technician works on water related emergencies in both residential and commercial properties. Technicians are responsible for stabilizing, cleaning and placing drying equipment in preparation for restoration. This position is located at our 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐡 branch.

• Responsible for stabilizing, cleaning and placing drying equipment for restoration

• Provide communication and photos to Managers and their teams regarding status of work

• Determine category of water loss and extract water

• Assist in determination on non-restorable building components

• Assist in demolition and set up drying equipment

• Clean and sanitize using bio wash procedures.

• Excellent customer service skills

• Clean criminal record as it relates to work

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driver abstract

• Experience driving and parking a cube truck or full-sized panel van is considered an asset.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work alone or with minimum supervision • Ability to lift industrial fans 30 - 40 lbs.

• Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers

• Knowledge of basic construction fundamentals, hand tools and power tools

• Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, carpet cleaning, or carpet installation is considered beneficial.
