Emergency Restoration Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled restoration emergency technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will respond to emergency situations such as floods, fires, and other disasters to mitigate damage and restore properties to their pre-loss condition. The technician will work closely with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and other team members to ensure efficient and effective restoration services.

Responsibilities

  • Candidates must be willing to undergo background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
  • This position requires being on-call and available to respond to emergency restoration situations promptly.

Job Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Proven experience in emergency restoration services.

• Knowledge of water damage mitigation techniques, including water extraction, drying, and dehumidification.

• Familiarity with fire damage restoration procedures, including smoke and odor removal, cleaning, and reconstruction.

• Proficiency in using restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, pumps, and moisture meters.

• Ability to assess damage and develop restoration plans based on industry standards and best practices.

• Understanding of mold remediation protocols and techniques.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to document restoration processes accurately.

• Capability to work efficiently under pressure in high-stress emergency situations.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, insurance professionals, and other stakeholders.

• Commitment to safety protocols and regulations while working in hazardous environments.

• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and perform restoration tasks.

• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as emergencies arise.

• Certification or training in restoration and mitigation techniques (IICRC certification preferred).
