We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Restoration Contents Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, packing, cleaning, and restoring contents damaged by disasters such as floods, fires, and other emergencies. The contents technician will work collaboratively with the restoration team to ensure the efficient and careful handling of clients' belongings.

Responsibilities

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a Restoration Contents Technician.
  • Knowledge of contents restoration techniques, including cleaning, deodorizing, and repacking.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to assess the extent of damage to contents and recommend appropriate restoration methods.
  • Proficiency in using contents restoration equipment, such as ultrasonic cleaners, ozone machines, and specialized cleaning agents.
  • Strong attention to detail to document and catalog contents accurately.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with clients, insurance professionals, and other team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulations while handling and transporting contents.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy items and furniture.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as emergencies arise.
  • Certification or training in contents restoration (IICRC) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in contents restoration, logistics, or related fields is a plus.
  • Job Requirements

    • Candidates must be willing to undergo background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
    • This position may require travel to various job sites, including overnight stays as needed.
